Becoming
a firefighter is
a huge
investment of
time to the
volunteer. Besides firefighting, the volunteer
also has to deal
with life's
realities like
school, jobs,
family, and the
multitude of
commitments life
throws at
everyone.
Staying a
volunteer is
even harder.
The Montgomery
Fire Department
takes in between
five and six
hundred calls each
year. Responding
to calls,
attending drills, business
meetings,
attending
fire classes to keep up on the lastest advancements,
fundraising and
just keeping the
apparatus and station
clean is time
dedicated to
serving the
community.
It is a lot of
hard work, but the
rewards are
priceless. If
you're
considering
becoming a
member, stop by
on a Tuesday
night around 7:00 p.m.
and we'll answer your questions and get
you started. Or
fill in the form
below and we'll
call you!
